Once you and your dog have completed all of your training, we will start training you and your dog to be part of a team. This will be worked on over a number of weeks at training, as we have to build the confidence of the dog running onto other dogs.

 

Once running in a team has been mastered at training you will probably take part in Starters competitions. In these competitions there is netting along both sides of the jumps. This helps dogs acclimatise to the competition environment and is also a very valuable experience for the handler. Once your dog has grasped this you will move onto open competitions which do not have netting. This is one of the most exciting and rewarding parts of flyball. Please see the videos below:
